Qi Gong & Nei Gong for the Spine, Back & Neck supports relieving back, neck, shoulder and spine problems and is especially effective for relieving injuries, weakness, whiplash, back and neck pain, nerve and muscle tension, and overall deep relaxation.

This gentle movement exercise is especially recommended for people with back problems. This course strongly develops internal power and dramatically increases healing power. This course is excellent for beginners and advanced students and is easy to learn and do. Medical Qi Gong Bodywork

February 10, 2009

Medical Qi Gong Bodywork is also called Qi Gong Tui Na, which means energy healing bodywork. It is a powerful branch of Chinese medicine and Asian bodywork. It is designed to unblock, free and balance chi. According to traditional Chinese medicine, if chi is flowing freely throughout the body, you have good health.

One of the major techniques of Qi Gong Tui Na is opening and closing. The spine, joints, organs, blood and all the internal systems of the body pulsate -open and close-in a natural rhythm. When the body is healthy, this pulsing is even and strong. When the body becomes ill, this pulsing deteriorates and our bodies and well-being are compromised.

Learn techniques to open and close the joints of the body designed to address:

  • Joint stiffness, mobility, alignment, pain, compression, injuries, arthritic symptoms
  • Develop better chi circulation
  • Increase elasticity and spring, and circulation of fluids in the joints
  • Clear structural patterns of imbalance
  • Deeply relax and reduce the effects of stress and tension inside your body
  • Improve overall health and well-being
  • Learn an integration exercise to teach to your clients

For Bodyworkers, Asian bodywork practitioners, Chinese medicine practitioners, and anyone interested in the healing arts:

  • Learn to work directly with the joints of the body in a unique way unknown in the West
  • Circulate chi in the core channels of energy in the center of the bones and joints, which has a balancing effect on the energy gates, acupuncture meridian lines, muscles, nerves, fascia, and internal organs
  • Balance the inward and outward opening and closing
  • Balance the four quadrants and specific blockages in each joint of the body
  • Circulate and thread chi between all the joints of the body
  • Learn to develop chi sensitivity in your hands

For Qi Gong and Tai Chi practitioners:

  • Deepen the pulsing of your joints, a core energetic process within Tai Chi and Marriage of Heaven and Earth.
  • Improve your alignments and internal connections
  • Have more awareness of your energy

Dates: April 20 – 23, 2009, Mon. – Thurs., four evenings, 7 pm – 9:30 pm.

Location: Brookline Tai Chi, 1615 Beacon Street, Brookline in Boston area, Massachusetts.
